PAAW ? December Adoption Special: 50% off Adoption Fee for ...

For the month of December, PAAW is offering a 50% off of the Adoption Fee for several adult cats currently in our foster home network. Here are some of the adult cats that are?available for adoption:

Sophia is a very sweet and pretty classic marbled silver tabby. Sophia is almost 2 years old. She is very funny and even talks. She was adopted when she was just 6 month old but unfortunately the family?had to move?and they could only take one cat with them. They took the older one which is okay but it meant?Sophie was returned to foster care?to look?for a new home. Not that she thinks she doesn?t have one though. Sophie loves to play with little noise toys like balls.

Cathy/Sara?was given away by the?family she was with for over 3 years. She?s doesn?t understand why. They say she?s not so loving. Cathy/Sara was adopted as a young kitten. She was bottle-fed and very loving. But maybe after the kitten grew into an adult cat they were no longer wanting to take care of her. Cathy?Sara is a bit on the chubby side. She was born 03/06/2009 and is now looking for an understanding and loving home that will not negelect her or give?her up?again. Cathy/Sara is a very talkative cat but can also be independent. She?s a very sweet cat and she?s one of those rare cats that LOVES water. She will jump right into the shower or bath tub?after you leave.

JB is a very young solid black cat. He was hanging around in the neighborhood. Coming for food and some petting. One day the rescuer realized that he had an abscess on his front leg. JB was brought to the vet, who found out that he was already neutered, which likely meant somebody had ?forgotten? him or abandoned him when they moved.?JB is a bit on the skinny side but likes his food, he will fill out soon. JB is very sweet and the perfect lap cat. He is used to living inside a house and doesn?t even go on the screen porch. Maybe he?s scared to be left behind again. JB is looking for the perfect home

Zoe is 5 years old. She was TNR?d in 2007 at Lafayette General Hospital. She was young and very sweet but shy. Her mom and her brother are still living at LAGH in a feral cat colony. Zoe got adopted fast and lived with a small dog and another cat for 4.5 years. But then her world changed. Her new mom got divorced and had to leave the home. She couldn?t take her pets. Zoe?s ?sister? was a sweet MC mix and found a home fast but Zoe unfortunately was more or less neglected by her family. She lived most days under the bed. Zoe just blossomed within the last few weeks. She wants to be loved so badly but is scared to ask for it. There is nothing she loves more than sleep in the bed very close to the foster mom. She?s still nervous around other people. She needs to learn to forget her fear. We don?t know what else happened to her but with the right person she?s the sweetest cat. And she even started to play with the kittens. Her new family should have lots of patience and give Zoe time to adjust.
